Abbreviation Fixes Abroad

The Geocoding feature now works more intelligently with abbreviated terms and various versions of foreign-language words (previously, abbreviations primarily worked in the Czech Republic). For example, if you enter “str. Wilhelm” instead of “straße Wilhelm” or “v. Antonio Grotto” instead of “Via Antonio Grotto,” the new system will correctly suggest the matching address. Examples include:

Additionally, we have added millions of official addresses from Italy and plan to include more countries in the future. We are also improving the handling of typos, synonyms, and inflection to make our search even more flexible and user-friendly.
